This year, Coachella takes one step further on the social media path by creating a Coachella iPhone app that allows festival goers to plan out their day and even locate their friends.

If this kind of app takes off, could this be the end of the paper-printed “Official Event Program”? And could we be seeing a record label or instrument company sponsoring a Festival iPhone app in the near future?
